Energy company BP wished to consolidate their legacy global web properties to improve look-and-feel, accessibility and delivery. This involved the migration of some 300+ Web sites and microsites across to a centralised content management platform, and the review of existing content and enrichment of online services.
Undertaken in parallel with the live content migration, work began on the systematic tracking and closing of any technical issues that had arisen during testing. The bug fixes were prioritised and scaled so as to ensure they would not hinder content migration, or delay the launch of the site.
At this time, accessibility issues were also highlighted and requirements for the compatibility of the enterprise with W3C Web standards given a key prominence in technical refinements.
The consolidated site was far easier to navigate, and withstood its heavy traffic without difficulty. It was important to perform regular statistical analysis of visitor trends on the site to ensure accessibility, and to report to business owners.

Infotechnics is a software company producing market-leading operational reporting, analysis and action tracking applications for a diverse range of business needs. They needed a website that not only reflected their corporate identity, but allowed information about their rapidly changing product range to be maintained on the site.
For this, a comprehensive content management system was set up to allow business owners to use the site to provide information about the software, as well as use flexible presentation methods to showcase and promote new products and functionality.
A rich set of templates for the CMS meant content editors could easily publish content, no matter the level of detail and technical complexity required.

Abssac is a precision engineering firm supplying specialist components to many industries. The nature of their product range required a website that could showcase the fine detail of these components, so product photography and technical documentation were central to the design of the site.

Because of the complexity of the components and varied requirements of customers, the site also needed intricate online forms to allow visitors to submit engineering specifications to the detail needed to provide production quotations.

As the European offices of web hosting company NTT/Verio began to work more closely with one another, it was necessary to align web site content and delivery. The design and online services of the 4 existing web sites would be synchronised to reinforce the allied marketing strategies of the companies.
The existing sites were very large, and neglected in some places, so the content transfer was an opportunity to review content. The new designs for the sites had as their primary aim the ability to find information quickly, and relied on far greater interactivity than the previous web properties had delivered. This required considerable scripting to enrich the visitor experience.
The launch of the European sites was synchronised to underline the integrated approach of the group of companies. The high-impact design sharpened the online presence of the world-class web host, and regularly updated content allowed the rapid changes in the company to be reported to visitors.
